You shouldn't have proposed at all. If he wanted to marry you, he would've proposed to you. Not the other way around. And it's neither romantic to ask in bed or smart.

You know... guys don't always like when girls expect a ring. I know that if my wife ever did what you did, I would say no. If you're ready to be married, than you have no choice but to play the waiting game. Not everybody is ready to marry at the same time you are. Honesty..................... Wait! He'll ask you when he's ready, and if you aren't patient enough for him, than it's your problem, not his. YDI all the way. Guess how long I waited for my wife to even say yes to my proposal? 6 months, and that's long for me, but I managed to survive and I prepared for a no and didn't make a big deal out of it. It's call patience. Gain some.
