Sailing close the wind
Today, what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life, my wedding day, turned into the day in hell. A friend caught my now ex kissing his friend outside. The girl he told me was “just a friend and nothing more” whenever I suspected there was indeed nothing more. Now I've found out in the worst way. FML

I'm sure this is ground for annulment. Not only will you be not married, it will be as if the wedding never happened!

I am so sorry. This sucks. It won’t hurt less knowing now or years from now that he tried kissing one person or pretty much every single female but a few in your side and possibly his side of the wedding party, and at one point if you get professional help through this you’ll see how much better off you are without him. The hurt doesn’t completely go away but it does get better.

True. If you found out a year or so in the future, you'd get to keep at least half his wealth and most of the wedding gifts. Now, you walk away empty-handed. I'm guessing there's probably some kind of emotional upset, too.

Shouldn’t it be « there was indeed something more »?
