No soup for you

Today, I was bringing a table a bowl of soup at my waitressing job. A new customer taking off his coat threw his elbow out, violently knocking the soup out of my hands and onto his baby in a highchair. The baby screamed; I had a panic attack. FML

How hot was the soup - was the baby okay? How did customers react?

That's definitely the fault of the other customer. Who juts their elbow out violently so they can remove their coat? Hope the baby was okay.

What kind of soup was it?

Let's focus on what's important here: was the coat stained?

Damn, that is just terrible all around

Brace yourself - if you're in America, the customer is going to find some way to blame you and/or sue you and/or your place of employment.
