Today, I met my husband's old high school sweetheart. My mother-in-law introduced me to her as "one of my son's friends." We've been married for over eight years. FML

sounds like my grandpa. he introduced my parents neighbors to us as "my granddaughter and her friend Kevin" once. acting like he was going to try and hook me and the guy up. I kissed him and was like "yep, that's us."
