My boyfriend and brother have the same name as well. I just call my boyfriend "Matt", and my brother "Matthew"

My brother is Robert but the family and I have always called him Bobby and it would be weird to call him Rob. My boyfriend's legal/christened name is Bobby so there's no getting around that one. Will be hilarious when my boyfriend meets my family in the US (He and I live in Europe).

I legitimately have the same issue, I always call my brother Matthew and I can't bring myself to call my boyfriend Matthew, I only ever call him Matt.
