Today, I found out that not only has my father been cheating on my mother with another woman, but they have a child together with the same name as me. FML

That actually wasn't the reason. The mother was the one that decided on the name, not my dad. She did it so that he could leave my mom and me without 'losing' anything.

Does it realy has to be a bad things you do know you have a new sister and mabey she has the same name as you cause your father liked it. shouldn't it be fine as long as your mom(s) don't know anything?

#33, your morals are dubious. *LOL* Though I also think he might have named the other kid the same way because he REALLY liked the name. (Altough it's more likely he did so to avoid accidentally calling his kid the wrong name in front of his wife.)

Well, your Dad probably kept the names the same so he could keep things straight - good memory tool. Nothing is more embarrassing than traveling between your two families and calling your kids by the wrong names.
