Today, I went shopping with my friend. The store was having a special where if you spend over $75 you receive a free T-shirt. I paid for my items and my total was over $75. The salesman didn't hand me a shirt so I asked him for one. He looks at me and says "I'm sorry, we only have Mediums." FML

very bad FML, they make large so people can wear large, not so people can be embarrassed, this FML would be good if the sails man said: "I'm sorry, our shirts are only made up to size extra large. you can go to the big/small shop for XXL"

#64 yeah they make their clothes really small!

Today, I spent $75 at a store so I could get a free t-shirt. ...

if you are that worried about it you should have returned it. FML, FML's suck lately.

so? whether it fits you or not, it's free and your entitled to it...Had you been buying clothes for someone else as a gift, the free shirt would go along nicely. A lot of people I know never keep the freebies they get for making purchases, but instead gives them to family and friends. The salesman shouldn't assume the person making the purchase is gonna be wearing the freebie....besides if I got a free shirt that didn't fit, it's DIY tailor time!

#14, I don't think the OP's "ungrateful" for the Medium shirt -- the point is that the OP didn't GET a shirt because the guy just assumed the OP wouldn't fit without bothering to ask for a size first.

i don't care to read all the other comments to see if someone said this but doesn't matter what your size is; if it says free shirt, then guess what: if the medium doesn't fit you, it could fit your friend. he shouldn't do that shit
