Today, I slept over at my boyfriend's house and he offered to give me a massage, as he'd found a book on sensual massage and wanted to test it out on me. When he went to the bathroom, I found the book open on his desk- at "Massage to eliminate cellulite". FML

Just because she has cellulite doesn't mean that she's fat, but let's be honest. More than likely, she is. Also, most of the women saying, "Cellulite is normal! I have it," on this website are fat, too. Or, they've been fat, or they've had kids.

Geez, these are some of the douchiest comments I've ever seen on this site. A couple of other commenters have already said that cellulite is not caused just by 'being fat' so get the hint and stop calling her that. What the hell is wrong with you bunch of tools?

aww i moderated this one. i wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even know what cellulite is. my boyfriend certainly doesn't. and anyone saying that cellulite = you're fat, is stupid. how much cellulite a woman has is genetic, and really depends on the person. for example, one of my friends weighs 10 pounds less than me and is about 4 inches taller than me but she has a lot more cellulite on her legs because she doesn't do any work to stay skinny, she just has a fast metabolism, while i've been a dancer all my life.

#11 is spot on, and it sucks. I'm not big, I exercise and am in good shape, but I still have the darn stuff on my butt and thighs. That's what sex with the lights off was made for, haha. Or a man who isn't bothered by it. Oh well girl, just enjoy the massage! Who knows, maybe you'll even look better for it too :)

#52 - I had cellulite even when I weighed 98lbs and was dangerously underweight. But thanks to your enlightenment, I know that I was just fat. Take a physiology or anatomy class before spreading your wisdom. 85% of post-adolescent women have cellulite, so... yeah, it is normal.

Did she ever say she wasn't grateful? The FML seems to center around the realization that her cellulite is noticeable enough that her bf wants to massage it away. Any girl who finds that out is going to be upset. And any guy who finds a guide to enlarging a penis on their gf's desk is going to feel shitty too. FML life is for venting. She doesn't need to suck it up here.
