I find it hard to believe that the OP found $100 on the ground (which probably wasn't his money since it was ahead of him so he would of had to thrown the money or noticed it fly away from his wallet) then turned around to discover $300 had fell out of his wallet. Sounds a little too coincidental too me especially since we're talking relatively large sums of cash.

Yeah I think this is BS. If the story was I found a dollar and then realized I had lost five I would be willing to believe that, but the odds that two amounts of money that large could be lost within that close of a vicinity within that short of a time are extremely unlikely. That would be like getting hit by a small meteorite, actually managing to get up and then getting hit by another after limping or crawling 10 feet. Possible? Sure. Probable? Not in the slightest bit.
