Controlling bitch needs to realize it's your wedding, not hers.
cut her out of it. she has already ruined the wedding it sounds like. its important you do what you want. she already had her day
Sounds like something mine would do
Acceptable option: Let her pay for it, let her run the thing. It's her money. Best option: Pay for your own shit. No one owes you a damn thing. Learn how to take care of yourself. If you can't do that, you better smile, say "Thank you," and be willing to lick boot.
I don't think the couple has to bend over and take the MIL's bullshit just because she gave a gift. I think it's implied that she's putting money into it, as are (probably) the other in laws, and yeah, the couple themselves. By no means does that mean that one contributing person gets full control.
he ain't got nothin to pleasure. for all y'all grammar Nazis, I'm from Oklahoma, that there is how we talk accent wise so stfu:)

#127 he he... and #61 thank you.. I remember my first time going to a gun range and there was this 40 something year old lady shooting perfectly... I will never forget that...
I'm slightly surprised no grammar Nazis have attacked this woman
stand up to the bicth now unless u wanna hear her shit 4 the rest of ur life
Have a smaller wedding and tell her that you can't accept her help if it's conditional. This isn't the way to start a marriage, with her asserting her authority over your decisions.
