Today, I woke up in a closet of a four-star hotel, having spent the night drinking. I'm a secondary school teacher and I've been visiting this place on a school trip. My flight left at 4 a.m. this morning and it's now 1 p.m. in the afternoon. FML

Today, while we were in a hotel, I got so drunk I apparently couldn't find my room, and passed out in the corridor. I woke up to see hotel staff calling security. FML

Today, I woke up to go to school. I was unbelievably tired, but I gathered the courage to go take my shower. I then took a long shower, cleaned up my room, got dressed, and ate breakfast. Going back to my room, I looked at the clock, which read 3:22 AM. FML

Today, while on my graveyard shift at an inner-city backpackers lodge, a drunk pissed in a dorm at 4am. I had to clean up after him, wash all the luggage that got dowsed, clean up 2 separate piles of puke, and help 3 drunken Brits back to their room while they abused me. I have a science degree. FML

Today, I set my alarm for 3:30 AM to catch an early flight. I got up, got dressed, and arrived at the airport in record time. While checking in, I was told that my flight is tomorrow morning. I’m now wide awake and sitting in a 24-hour diner, having a very early breakfast. FML

As a secondary school teacher myself, I would never even touch a drop of alcohol on a school trip - you are ALWAYS "on duty", even after lights out. You deserve it, and you will probably be fired. No sympathy here.

Its more of the fact that she was in charge of a group of students (even if there were other teachers there she is still responsible for the students) and decided to get drunk.

Ok first, you're on a trip with MINORS!! you are working 27/7 when you're on a trip!!!! You are supposed to be a role model for these kids!!! If you wanted to drink you need to wait until you're no londer responcible for these kids!!!! And then to drink so much that you can't even get up in time for your flight?!?!? That's incredibly irresposible. Really, think about what you just did. You just made it so your life will suck. You're going to get fired, you won't find another job because no one in their right mind would hire someone who got drunk when they were on the job. But you deserve it. What were you thinking?

I supervise overseas trips for groups of students. On those trips, I refuse to drink at all for the duration. It's not difficult for the two weeks involved. This behaviour is unbelievable and I honestly hope your ass gets fired, for the sake of the rest of us that take the responsibility seriously.
