Today, my fiancé seriously used the war in Israel/Palestine to call off our engagement. We had different opinions, so he asked for the ring back and stormed out of our apartment. Turns out, he used this as a ticket out because he was seeing someone else and didn’t “wanna hurt my feelings” by confessing. FML

Today, my fiancée handed me her engagement ring back and told me she felt like she's pressuring me into marriage, so to make me feel better about it we’re no longer engaged. On top of this, I found out she’s started talking to her ex again. FML

I know it's stupid and it hurts but I have to be objective with you, OP. He was an example of trash taking care of itself. It hurts but you will heal and come back stronger. Eventually you'll find someone with maturity and value. Keep your head up!

I wouldn't be with someone who disagrees with my opinion on that issue. Then again, I'm not sure I could be with someone who doesn't agree that Skittles suck and they are nothing but a cruel joke on someone who was expecting M&Ms.
