Today, my mom scolded me and threatened to ground me for coming home past midnight. Normally, it wouldn't be unreasonable, except for the fact that I'm 24 years-old, and that my parents live with me, in my own house. FML

Today, I got yelled at by my mother for making noise after midnight. What was the noise? The microwave as I made something to eat. I work the night shift and had just come home from work, and I'm the only person in this house with a job. Apparently, me not paying her overdue bills cancels that out. FML

New house rule: Tenants are granted one opportunity to complain per $25 fee. If they either do not want to pay the fee or cannot afford it, they have the choice to either shut it or make you a sammich. Parents or not, you are an adult, and you make YOUR rules in YOUR house.
