Today, whilst taking a shower, I noticed my razor wasn't in its usual spot. Upon inspecting it closer, I noticed that there were tiny white hairs in it. When confronting my father about it, he claimed the "pink razors" are his. We've been sharing the same razor this entire time. FML

This one time I noticed my brothers arms were shaved, which was really weird because he's a "macho" guy, and then I saw that my razor had all these super long black hairs in it... So I confronted him and he completely denied ever using my razor. I don't know why people feel it's acceptable to use another persons razor.. I think it's disgusting, because he had clue as to what I'd used it to shave. WEIRD. So I feel you OP..

One time I went to go use my razor but it was standing up instead of laying down. So I figured it must have fallen and someone in the family was being nice and picked it up for me. Upon further inspection, I noticed men's pubes. Now if my razor is even slightly moved, I toss it and get a new one. I'm not playing that game.

when someone shaves they try to get rid of their hair, not put someone else's hair there.

Those are in no way comparable and it is highly unsanitary to share razors. It's more equivalent to sharing needles, not toilet seats. Think about it, shaving can cause tiny nicks in the skin and these cuts can allow bacteria to enter and spread infections. It can also make you vulnerable to any disease or infection the other person could have, this could include, warts, bacterial, and fungal infections. Not to mention, it could result in transmitting blood viruses since there can be blood left over on the razor from cuts. You can't account for the possible infections other people could have, even with family. Don't share razors.

You are so right #13. How dare I report on facts that are unappealing and may not be what people want to hear. No, I should just always report positive things. Sharing razors is perfectly healthy and you'll gain super strength from it. On a related note, sharing needles and doing hard drugs is great for the immune system and you're not at all at risk of contracting HIV or dying.

Sharing razors has way more chance of doing harm than sharing toothbrushes. When people talk they already share microscopic spit particles at close range.
