How did you cut yourself on the counters?

Haha, I've done that. But I was lifting corn out of the pot with some tongs my mom used to hold her corn to butter it with, and didn't tell me. I had a bandaged hand, the corn shoot out the tongs and I reflexively caught it, so it wouldn't splash with my bandaged hand. My hand didn't go in the water, but some of my bandage did( my whole hand was bandaged up except my fingers, on my right hand and I'm right handed). The gauze soaked up the water like a tampon and I ran around trying to tear the stuff off while looking for scissors. My mom was laughing while holding up some scissors, she wasn't laughing after the ER trip for second degree burns though.

well that's irritating...

no common sense right here, the corn is in boiling hot water so right there you should know right there is gonna be hot, if you dont have a metal toung then find something else, this is going in FAIL LIST OF FML, cause of the accident, not cause of your family laughing at you
