Today, while driving, I realised I hadn’t had an accident after six months with a license, statistically the most likely time to have a crash. Having been eating some salty potato cakes, I reached into the back seat for my water bottle and ran off the road, spun three times and rammed a hill. FML

the only way i can see this happening is if you full on turned around to look in your back seat to find the bottle, or else you would have seen where you were going. just so, so unbelievably stupid.

Today, while on the highway, a guy in a truck sped up to pass me. He was hauling a trailer, which hit me and ran me off the road. I called the cops and followed him all the way into town, where the cops pulled him over. They let him go without even a ticket, because, "He didn't know he hit you." FML

Today, a friend who visited me a week ago with "allergy rashes" told me that it's actually scabies, and she hopes I didn't catch it from her. It takes 2-6 weeks for the symptoms to show and I can't use the medication for it anyway because I'm pregnant. FML

Today, to save money, my wife decided, among other things, to make her own butter. It required cream bought fresh from a nearby farm and a lot of hand churning. I worked it out: by the time all the cream became butter, it was 4 times more expensive than Asda butter, expires faster, and tastes worse FML
