Today we found out that Morty (the gerbil) is actually Morticia when we found her 8 little babies. She’s probably already pregnant again. FML

Depending on where you got the gerbils, this can either be a YDI or an actual FML. If you got them from 2 different pet shops(or the same shop), YDI if you didn't bother to ask what gender they were. Again, that's IF you didn't ask. If you asked and they said they were only male/only female, then it's FYL as you weren't expecting suddenly having pups(Name of a gerbil's baby). If you got them from someone else, then it's a different story entirely.

They were sold to us from the same pet shop as a pair of boys and they were already housed together. She would’ve already been pregnant when we bought her but Gerbils don’t show very much till the last few days unless you can compare their size pre-pregnancy. I’m just thinking of it as buy 2 get 8 free at the moment.
