Today, the heating in my house broke down. I called my boyfriend and asked if I could stay at his place until I could get it fixed. He said no, and told me my overgrown leg hair would keep me warm. FML

it's okay OP, lots of girls don't shave much during cold weather . I mean, legs, under arms, bikini, that's a lot to shave ! guys are aloud to not shave their face, so why can't girls not shave their legs ? it is a personal preference, who cares . if you don't like it, pick someone else .

you are probably right; but there are also guys who might break up with girls or certainly not date them, because of the societal pressure to shave . I personally don't care if my boyfriend shaves or not, as I said it is his preference .

I'm showing you that this double standard you're trying to define is non-existent. Women shave their legs. Men shave their face. The preference is up to the individuals, and not a blanket statement. But judging from the thumbs I can see there are vast amounts of women who think it's a one-sided sword. Whatever.
