Today, on the train to work, the train guard was hot and I became stupidly nervous. I'm very shy and was trying to avoid eye-contact. He said 'THANK YOU', in a pissed off tone of voice and glared at me. I had absent-mindedly been staring in the direction of his prosthetic arm the entire time. FML

you could totally fix that. when you get off just say I'm sorry I get nervous around cute guys and I'm sorry for offending you. then wink and get off

Ugh, I know the feeling. When I'm deep in thought, I end up just staring in a random direction. One time, I was staring at a girl's boobs without even knowing. She noticed...

How were you supposed to know? It shouldn't be that hard to figure out that you weren't staring at the arm either. He's an asshole and a fool. Report him if you want. You shouldn't feel guilty over it unless you have reason to feel guilty about looking at him at all.

That sucks. You should have just looked at your phone or looked the other way.

so, it probably didn't ruin his day, no real prob. but, ilovecowboys? what the hell :S you live in the wrong age cowgirl. or if you count rednecks, then your in luck :D and i probably get a lot of bad reactions because of this.

This is made up. I work on the Auckland trains and while there are staff with disabilities not a single one has a prosthetic arm.

Awww....yeah, I understand. On the bus, I try to not make eye contact with people in general if I'm sitting in those seats in the back cause people sit right across from you. Sometimes I end up blankly staring at something I shouldn't be when I'm not even really concentrated on it. Spacing out~~ But hey, prosthetic arms are awesome :DD yeah I thought Ed too xDD hahaha god if I saw an officer with that kind of arm I'd compliment or something, things like that can't go without good words :D

did you give him a hand or nudge his arm ?
