Dehydration is the biggest enemy with stomach bugs, the next enemy is the loss of electrolytes. Take 1000ml of clean water, add 1/4 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Stir until it's all mixed up, and it's a rehydration solution. (Basically the stuff that pedialyte is.) Crackers are literally flour, water, oil, and salt. Given the time of the year, I highly doubt that they would be lacking any ingredients to make crackers. The fact that such things apparently didn't occur to them means that either they are bad at thinking outside the box, or that they just didn't give a ****.
