Yeah, redheads are a recessive gene, it could've come from either one of you, I wouldn't worry about that too much.

Actually, it would have to come from both. Someone with only the dominant gene can't have a kid with the recessive gene. I can't explain without being about to draw it out, though. Go google "Punnett squares" and then draw a few and figure out why you're wrong.

Babies can take gene from as far as 8 generation before yours. In case you doubt, like people said, you might want to take the paternity test... That might cause trouble if your wife was faithful all that time though. :P
