i agree with many of the comments here. there's no reason to be ashamed of being a virgin at 21. just wait for the right guy and move at your own pace. no reason to force yourself to have sex just because you don't want to be a virgin.
Maybe, instead of everyone saying, "Oh, you're saving yourself! How noble :3.", they should realize she probably isn't, from the way she wrote this, and just can't get any. There is also nothing wrong with wanting to have sex - and I'm glad my fiance wasn't the first guy I slept with. No regrets. Just sayin'.
since when is there anything wrong with being a 21 year old virgin. you're REALLY young. i can see why your mom's worried, given that you seem to feel the need to have sex.
I'm 20 (almost 21) and haven't had sex yet (and to all of you haters out there, I do have a boyfriend, we're just waiting a minute). I don't think it's a bad thing. There is nothing wrong with waiting for the right person. Good for you. :) Also please keep in mind that there's not a rule book for this kind of thing, so anyone who tells you you're too old to be a virgin is just being a douche.
Nobody hates you for your choice, they hate you for your self righteous, pompous attitude and your childish name calling.
well I lost my virginity at 17 with my girlfriend of two years. we lasted together for almost five year. even though I'm single I don't feel the need to do it with just anybody.
Actually, there are on-going studies that are looking into ties between losing your virginity early (around 14) or late (22 and on) and the possible health risks and sexual dysfunctions people develop later in life. They don't have anything totally solid yet, but I can't wait to hear more about this.
being a virgin is totally cool, i mean sure like some of the people have said already, it seems like you want to have sex. but theres a difference in wanting it and choosing not too, and wanting it and ******* some random ass guy because of it. so on the virgin thing, way to go. now the mom calling you a **** and thinking youll get pregnant that is really harsh. but what could have happened to provoke her into saying that to you? so yeah id say FYL to the whole mess
I'm almost 21 and I'm still a virgin. I don't mind. When it happens it will happen.
