Today, my husband told me he wants to be a stay at home parent. This wouldn't be a big deal if he didn't complain regularly about being an adult. We both work the same hours usually. I do all the cooking and cleaning because he says he's too lazy. I say he's too irresponsible. He says he's not. FML

Sounds like you're already a mommy. At least you've had practice. I wouldn't leave a baby in the care of your husband--he doesn't sound very responsible. And he REALLY needs to get over it, and quick. Mommying a little baby in addition to a grownup baby is NOT easy. It's like being a single mom. The same thing happened to me, and then I became a single mom for real. It was hell in the beginning. Somehow, you're going to have to get him to man up and grow up. I feel for you and I hope things work out. Hang in there.

I guess you could make him look after you for a while so he could see what doing all the chores is like. At the very least he'll learn how much work needs to be done.

Did you not know your husband before you got married? Did your parents set up this match for you? If not, has he recently become lazy? If yes, it could point to a medical condition (diabetes maybe?) or it could mean he is unhappy with something at work - no promotions, bully boss or coworkers.. Talk to him and have him checked.
