Today, my girlfriend's best friend told me she was in hospital after having made a suicide attempt. In shock, I had a panic attack and ended up in the hospital myself. Turns out it was all a lie to see whether or not I was committed to the relationship. FML

Never date someone that feels the need to set little 'tests' like this. Life is to short to put up with that crap.

wow, she is smart! this isnt an fml its an FTW

Ugh..-sigh- I'll be the first to say it.. Rape her, and pics or it didn't happen.

Tell her that's the last time you end up in the hospital because of something she pretended, and dump her ass.

If you have a "panic attack" that sends you to the hospital, sounds like you need to work on yourself for a bit before you bother having a relationship. Oh and your GF is a bitch, break it off.

Um.. you make it sound like panic attacks can be controlled. Sometimes, they can't... there may not even be anything wrong with OP. So what if he gets panic attacks? That doesn't make him any less of a person.

It's called a "neurilogical disorder." Do some research before you make assumptions. :/

It's not always caused by a neurological disorder. Do some research before you post.

You had a "panic attack" that sent you to the hospital? Sounds like you need to work on yourself before bothering with a relationship. It's fine being distraught and sad after an event like that, but a panic attack? really? Oh and your GF is a bitch. dump her.

Oh please, shut up. It's kinda hard to control panic attacks.

NO STOP THAT. I ******* hate it when people say that to people with depression and anxiety disorders. How hard is it for people to ******* realize it's not something you control? It's something that requires medical attention because it's a disorder you are born with. No, OP does not need to work on themselves just because people are stupid to even try to understand what anxiety disorders and panic attacks even are. Its not a flaw in his personality, it's a flaw in the chemistry of the brain. Please educate yourself before you tell someone to evaluate themselves for something they can't control. It's like telling someone win a physical disease the same thing and don't yell me it's not because it ******* is. Please, people, stop thinking just because these disorders are expressed through visible emotion that they are something that is chosen or just happens to a completely healthy, normal person.

Well I hope you're not committed to her now, OP. What a bitch. And that's putting it mildly (and politely).

Really? The best friend was talking about the OP's girlfriend. Hence the apostrophe before the s in the prefix of word girlfriend. it conducts ownership of the noun that follows it. The girlfriend was NOT talking about her best friend. The best friend of the girlfriend was talking about the girlfriend.

No one should mess around like that. Not ******' cool. FHL hope she gets what she deserves and FYL that you know a chick like that.
