Speaking of which though, my school teacher married what would have been her best man, but it was back in her RAF war days and she split with her fiance and then met the best man again

Absolutely!! it sounds like she is going to just allow him to be part of the wedding? if this were me and say my bestfriend told my husband she had feelings for him I would hope my husband has the decency to let me know before i allow the bitch to stand next to me on my wedding day. id be furious if i was told afterwards! never start a marriage with lies especially when this asshole is meant to be her fiances best mate! what a jerk move!
