Today, my dogs were sick. They spent all day laying in my mom's room. When they finally decided to get up, they walked into my room. Guess whose room smells like dog vomit? FML

Today, I found out I'm going to have to come into the office on yet another weekend to plow snow. This wouldn't be so bad, if I actually got paid to work weekends. FML

Today, I was babysitting my nephew. He was acting up, so instead of spanking him, I put him in the corner for timeout. He screamed and thrashed and kicked the walls so hard my neighbors called the police. My sister wasn’t answering her phone, and I had to explain why a 7-year-old was acting like that. FML

Today, I always thought that my dad never believed in me, but hearing him say it for the first time at 30 was the catalyst for some really hard self-reflection. The fact that I usually bounce all my ideas off him is the hardest to accept. Now who do I share with? FML

Today, apparently, I can't have a bad day. After school, mom asked me if I'd had a good day. I told her no. Without asking, she went on a tirade about how unsociable I am and how poor my attitude is. I was harassed all day by my classmates because I don't wear expensive brand name clothes like they do. FML

Today, my dog managed to get into our cabinet and eat an entire bag of Hershey's Kisses. Now she is puking all over the house and outside too. When I called the vet to tell her about it, she said that it was normal, and to call her back when it was "coming out the other end." FML
