Today, my dad wanted to show me a cool camera he saw on Amazon yesterday, so I let him use my laptop to find it. I realized too late that I'd forgotten to clear my browsing history. The suggested purchases section was filled with dildos and lube. He definitely noticed. FML

Today, I turned on my boyfriend's computer and saw pictures of all of my credit cards, front and back, and several of my parent's credit cards. I looked in his e-mail and found receipts for items which had been billed to me and delivered to him, including golf clubs and my birthday gift. FML

Since others have mentioned it...Incognito/Private mode is your friend here. For Firefox: Shift+Ctrl+P will you get there. For Chrome: Shift+Ctrl+N will you get there. For Explorer: You have bigger problems than going incognito As far as Amazon listing suggested material. If you signed in I'm sure that's true...but couldn't you browse incognito if you're just price checking? If you're just browsing without being signed in then there's nothing for Amazon to remember/suggest. Just a thought. On a sidenote its the multiple convos above about whether gay, straight, bi, or even purchasing for himself that make me glad I grew up the way I did. My dad probably would've looked at me, arched an eyebrow and then said something to the effect of, "Meh...whatever floats your boat. Its your money kid." Of course though, we've always treated each other with respect.
