They do say you swallow a few spiders in your sleep each year, don't freak out too much just brush your teeth and try to forget about it.

Hate to say this but here it goes, The person eats and average of five spiders in their sleep... So on that you may have killed it just another came by...

An average of five in a lifetime. Or even year, not sure which one. But it's not five spiders every night. It's extremely unlikely for him to happen across another one to eat.

That's pure urban legend; someone did an actual study and debunked it. They succeeded in confirming, however, that you're very rarely more than five feet from a spider.
