Today, I went on a date for the first time in two years after finally having a little bit of time free from college and work. The guy tried to convince me to leave my career path in medicine to work in his restaurant, talked over me the whole time, and mentioned his ex too many times to count. FML.

Today, I bit into a burrito and felt something hard crunch. I spit it out and found a small tooth. It was mine. I'd managed to break my tooth on a burrito. I had to go to the dentist, and the hygienist giggled a bit too much about the reason why it was getting fixed. I now have a strong suspicion of burritos which will probably never go away. FML

Today, I received a rejection email from a brain cancer research charity to be a junior graphic designer with them. I'd forgotten about the application with them because after I applied, my dad became unwell and got diagnosed with incurable brain cancer. FML
