Today, I was on my way to work. As I was stopped at a stop light with 5-6 cars in front of me, I was rear ended. I literally have only had this car for 2 and a half months because my last car was totaled taking a different route to work which also wasn't my fault. FML

I feel ya, I had some asshat decide to back up from the street into the gas station parking lot to get to the pump. Needless to say he never made it to the pump, he only made it to the side of my car. It was called half my fault because it occurred in a parking lot. 7 year long perfect record - gone. F our Lives, OP.

that's why you're supposed to give the car in front of you space so that if someone rear ends you it won't cause you to hit the car in front of you. so hopefully you had space, they were at fault and you wouldn't be at fault for in turn hitting the back of someone else's car. that sucks though. I'm sorry

I had something similar happen to me I got rear ended while at a stop light the car was really old so insurance totaled it two months after getting a replacement i was hit head on by an old guy the crossed over into my lane
