I should think your professor would immediately delete it -as technically they are in possession of child pornography (assuming you are a minor). I would text and put in writing that it was a mistake (so the professor and you are covered if this happens to go further - i.e. if the professor tells a superior about it to cover themselves. It is a horrible situation and although it was a silly mistake - people do text the wrong person at times. It happens. So I suggest just battling through it and pretending it didn't happen (after you've explained of course). Just act like normal and things should go back to normal. We are all human. It is nothing your professor hasn't seen before. Mistakes happen.

Is it REALLY that hard to look at the name of the person you're messaging? No sympathy here. Hope it didn't completely screw you over though.
