Today, I volunteered at the humane society. We recently had a hoarding bust in my state, and there are a few birds, so now volunteers can sign up to read to them. I signed up to do so, and found out I'm allergic to birds. I'm signed up for the rest of the month for 3 hours per day. FML

Uh, you're a volunteer. You commit your free time to their cause, and don't have to work to a schedule, or to make money. You can walk away, and they'll understand. Also, reading to birds?
