Today, my mom talked me into going to a funeral since my dad wouldn't go. It was for one of her classmates. When it was our time to view the casket, we paused in front of it for a second before my mom leans over to me and says, "What if I told you that was really your dad?" FML

Not alone man. After 8 years of no contact I drove 3000 miles roughly to see my dad brain dead on his death bed just to have to watch them pull the plug. Shit sucks sometimes keep your head up you'll be ok.

This is probably the saddest fml I've ever read...my condolences op :(( I lost my dad too and near 7 years later it's still weird to think he's not here anymore. Hang in there, it'll get worse before it gets better. ❤️ And to everyone that voted YDI, unless it was accidental, you're just sick and heartless.
