I honestly do not understand you ppl saying her boyfriend is an asshole! That's a complete turn off!! As a woman or man you need to take care of yourself. My fiancé gets regular hair cuts and always trims, I do my eyebrows and upper lip hair very week. Do you see models with any hair??
First of all, who cares about how models look like? Most a them are photoshopped and anorexic. Men are waxed in such a way that they look like they never went through puberty. Clearly not an example to live by. Secondly, yes her boyfriend is an idiot for pulling that stunt instead of telling her that he found that unattractive. My fiance tells me if I wear something that is unflattering or if I should remember to do my eyebrows :). He is simply very tactful about it so I appreciate that he pays attention to me. What's important is that he lets me know and so do I when I think he should change / take care of something. It's all about communication.
You are extremely conceited, and you sound like a bitch. Go ahead and take care of YOUR OWN body however you want. It is absolutely NONE of your business what other people do with theirs, especially considering that it's pretty common where upper lip hair is extremely noticeable and hard to get rid of no matter what you try. I've heard of several people trying everything up to and sometimes including laser surgery and not being able to do anything about it.
We were discussing this at work the other day if it was socially unacceptable for guys to have hair everyone would be hairy. There is no way that guys would wax their hair much too painful for them. OP just tell your BF that you would wax your upper lip if he does it first. :)
u deserved it, wehere not living in the 80's
Newsflash! I lived through and enjoyed the 80's and it wasn't normal or socially acceptable for women to have a mustache then either.
That's messed up. I would've ended up waking up punching him in the face. Lol.
I'm sorry maybe I'm just mushy but it's actually slightly sweet in a creepy dumb bf sorta way.. Maybe he didn't want to hurt your self -esteem. If he's been a loving bf so far cut him some slack :)
To all the people giving YDI because she 'has a moustache' (how would you know, maybe he's overreacting?): What if I told you It's freaking natural so let her decide for herself. When this would have been about her hair color or something, everyone would have said that it's her own choice, then why is it not your own choice of what to do with the little amount of fuz you have on your upper lip?
Leave him. If he won't love you as you are, he doesn't truly love you.
Haha

Wax his eyebrows off while he's sleeping!
20 - You know what? No, **** that. A girl doesn't have to shave, wax, whatever if she doesn't ******* want to. I don't care who you are, as long as you keep yourself clean, you should never be made to feel bad for having a little facial hair, leg hair, hair wherever. If you find yourself not attracted to such a person, then fine, but don't you DARE try to force your opinion onto someone else like that. That is such an inexcusable invasion of personal space, seriously.
