Today, I learned that my parents have no college fund set up for me. I also learned that my mom will not let me get a summer job to start saving for my college on my own. FML

At first, i thought you sounded entitled and was about to day YDI. Then I heard the rest and felt genuinely sorry for you. Do they have issues about you being independent?

I honestly don't know what their deal is. I think it's something about "once you start working you're working for the rest of your life." I need a way to get money though because I don't want to have to spend my only free time in college at some stupid job just to help me pay off my loans.

Today, I'm so tired of life. I work 16 hour shifts. My fiancee takes me for granted and I mean that seriously, I have to work 16 hours, 5 days a week, come home, take care of the house and the kids, while I listen to her complain about her 40 hour week.
