Today, I had an excellent conversation with this guy I met on a gay dating site. We really hit it off well and had a lot in common. We got to the point where he asked me for my picture. I showed it to him and he stopped responding. FML

Original poster here. Just wanted to clear up a few things: I'm really not upset about it. It kind of got to me when it happened but I got over it pretty quickly. The only thing that upset me was the fact that I told him that if he wasn't interested, I'd still like to be friends and he completely disregarded that. Ultimately, I just wanted to make my first FML, lol. #17, #18 - He had already seen two of my pictures, but a 3rd one was slightly more revealing, and that was what did me in! #13 - Ouch! That must have been AWKWARD to say the least. :/ #12 and #15 - I don't mind if you think that way. It's a free country, we're entitled to our opinions, after all. But you know what they say... usually the loudest homophobes are closet cases themselves! ;)

what a shallow douche, you'll find someone better. :)

It has happened to me a lot too. It's more of a good thing than you realize. Most of those guys who stop talking to you after they see your picture did not care about anything you said from the start. When you find a guy who stays after he sees your picture, keep him. Remember, looks fade, no matter what. So all those guys who ignored you? In 15 years they will be nothing more than an old used potato sack that has no one to go home to at the end of the day.

You don't need that guy. All you haters need to stop being in denial and admit you love the ****.

Maybe he was jealous because he realized your junk was superior to his, so he quit responding so he could go put on his supplemental strap-on. Still, you'll find someone better. I actually find that relationships with people who are less like me tend to work out for the longest amount of time.

The question is?? Are you Hot?? HaHa

lol? idk what's wrong w everyone. it's okay to be shallow. i sure as hell am.

#37 - That depends on what you perceive as hot! I'm considered a "cub" (young, hairy, a bit overweight, dark hair and eyes with a goatee) but quite a lot of guys have said that I was hot, while others said I was not their type.

Maybe he didn't feel like he could compete with your complete gorgeousness? Either way, if you guys talked and liked each other but he still let your appearance turn him off, then you really didn't lose much. ;)
