Alright, guys. I just have to voice my opinion on this one. 1) To the people who are saying "move out" you're totally overreacting. The OP could easily be a teenager coming home from their part time job. They could be 15-17 years of age. So try that one on for size.. 2) To the people who are saying "knock first" or "call first" just think for a minute. Maybe I would call if I was getting off work early, but maybe not. But knocking? Really? The OP obviously lives there. Why would you feel the need to knock on your own door..? 3) And lastly, to the people who are saying that "at least your parents are still in love". Gosh. This one was probably the most ignorant of comments. Maybe it's just the way I was raised, but I was raised into a pretty conservative household. So if I walked in on my parents, I'd be fully mortified. I don't want to hear it, and I most definitely don't want to see it. It's probably equally mortifying for your parents, too. So I don't really think this is a YDI situation, really. The OP had no idea that they'd be doing this, so I hope more people will give s/he the benefit of the doubt.
