And how old is her boyfriend?!!
That girl needs slapped in the face by reality. ...OP, your new nickname is "Reality," okay?
I'm 29 and I'm still not ready for kids. How on earth is a 15 year old convinced that she is?
Shes 15. When i was 15 i didnt think about how things would change my life past the next assignment due. Most adolescents think that way.
Every time I hear something like this I wonder where common sense and the parenting stopped
Good parenting cannot guarantee common sense, and teenagers - pretty much by definition - tend to be short on it.
Be a mom and tell her that's she's not ready.
Sadly, I doubt that's actually help. It's true, but if a teenager is told they're not ready for something when they are convinced they are, it's just going to make them more determined and more distant.
Babies makin babies
Omg.. im 17 and im great with kids but having a kid is a compleatly different story... they need soo much attention she will have to drop outta school to make time and the dad will need to get a job its a huge life changing experience. But how old is her boyfreind?
If any of your relatives have a young child, offer her up as a babysitter. Or borrow the child and make her take care of it on her own for a few days. Also, videos of birth.
Keywords
teach her how it is having a baby, wake her up every two hours at night.
Even better, show her videos of women giving birth. Should make her realize she isn't ready.
