Sadly my ex-boyfriends mother does this, she still talks to me and has me as her daughter in law on Facebook. He has a new girlfriend now and I would never get back with him because he was abusive but I loved his family and actually feel bad for the girlfriend.

fyl. I can relate, my boyfriends mom likes to say his ex girlfriends name every time I call him, while she is in the room. Guess we'll never be able to bond with the mothers like the exes did.

yea I feel dumb when I go over to mother in law house to visit. she still have picture of his ex girlfriend on wall next to TV. I didn't say anything to my boyfriend about it. I wish I could but I don't want sound stupid or jealous but it does bother me.

That is ridiculous! It sounds like you need to have a talk with your SO about that one. I'm sure that it's equally hard on him and hopefully she'll come around. If not, at least you have him!:)
