147 - If you really love someone, it's not as big a deal if they have one of the "inconvenient" incurable STDs like herpes or HPV, IMO. I have to admit to being shallow enough that I would never have sex with someone with HIV/AIDS, though.

It makes sense if you think about it. 11% of men and 20% of women could mean that men pass it to more women. Most men I know have had sex with more women than women with men.

Not to mention that more women are honest with themselves and get themselves tested when they see something unusual down there, while men are more likely to be in denial about anything abnormal on their junk.

119- Women are perhaps more likely to become infected because the ****** is mucous membrane (lovely...) and therefore is super susceptible to viral or bacterial situations. I don't think it's because men transmit herpes more than women. Women do so quite often as well.
