Today, I decided to show up early for work and really try to get off my manager's shit-list. On my way to work, my manager called to bitch me out for already being 30 minutes late. Yeah, I forgot about Daylight Savings Time. FML

Today, I was asked to “schedule a quick call” with a client in a different time zone. I double-checked everything… except daylight savings. I sent the invite, joined the call early, and waited alone for 20 minutes before realising I'd scheduled it an hour off. My manager had to email the client an apology while I learned more about time zones than I ever wanted. FML

You are far from the only person who forgot to change their clocks last night.

Showing up 30 minutes early one day is no way to get off a shit list... Try showing up 15-20 minutes early EVERY day.

**** DST! We should all follow Arizona's example.., and plant more cacti!

My avatar agrees with you (it's a new pad on a prickly pear)!

At least you weren't an hour and a half late like you probably would've been. Better luck next time OP

Look on the bright side. You were only 30 minutes late instead of an hour late if you would have went "on time"

Sometimes you jusy can't win! Keep trying, OP!

...And then waste an additional ten minutes trying to post this.

Although your intentions were good.. Only idi0ts forget daylight savings!

Almost just shit myself thinking I'd forgotten DST and was late for work!! Then I remembered I live in the UK. ta for that though haha

Well, I forgot that I set my clock forward before I went to bed, so I set them again when I woke up and ended up at work an hour early on accident. Thats one way to start an already long 12 hour shift off on the wrong foot.
