Today, I decided to go get my hair cut because it was getting a bit long. I told the lady that I wanted it way short and she replied "Why? You will look like a guy sweetie." I am a guy. FML

If she's that blind, you don't want her anywhere near your hair with scissors.

I think you're lucky, but that's just because I have to use a wig to do that :p

aww, its ok im sure you dont look like a girl nor sound like one. Screw the f...in hair stylest.

hey, regardless of what sex the OP is, it's not the hairdresser's place to say that. So what if a girl wants to cut their hair short (the OP isnt even a girl)? It's not ALWAYS a sign of dyke-ism or transvestitism or whatever you want to label it, some people cut it short simply for functionality's sake -- say, if you were a chef, or if you were in the military -- or even if you were a sprinter or long distance runner, where your long hair would get in the road every two seconds. it's not her place to impress her own blissfully naiive gender ideals on other people. "oh no, you look like a boy if you have 'way short' hair.. please miss hairdresser, vomit up all your expectancies and gender ideals and splatter it all over my face like a beautiful flowing waterfall of blissful arrogance...so i may learn to live my life the correct way" *smiles wistfully*

LMAO! I'm sorry but some ppl you just can't tell if it's a boy or a girl. She shouldn't have said it tho, even if she was thinking it.

How about this... "Today I was at my job as a hairdresser. I saw a girl sit down at my chair and say she wanted her hair way short, so I said, "Why? You will look like a guy, sweetie." "She" responded, "I AM a guy." FML
