Today I caught the flu which would be fine if I hadn't just had stomach surgery the other day. When I cough I throw up from it hurting my stomach so badly. It literally hurts to be alive. Fml

I think you should call your doctor or surgeon and see if you need to be admitted to the hospital as a precautionary measure, if you are already in it. You could reopen the surgical site from the vomiting, not to mention that it puts you at a much higher risk of infection and major dehydration.

I did and they said I was fine and sent me home with antibiotics
