Today I caught my elderly neighbor in my home hiding her cigarettes again. She has dementia and her children take care of her and won't let her. I've tried to talk to them about this issue and they pretend like it's no big deal. Am I going to have to be the person who calls the cops? FML

Try securing the doors first. If yo can't lock the door install a hook and eye latch. If that doesn't work then yes, call the police the next time you catch her in your residence.

Today, my mom decided to clean out my freezer. She freaked out over a box of unbelievably expensive King crab legs that expired over five years ago. My PTSD kicked in and I explained that I got them for a special occasion three days before my girlfriend was diagnosed with lung cancer. I never got that special occasion. I hate me. FML

Today, I saved a bird from being run over as it lay in the middle of the road. Thinking it had a broken wing or something, I started carrying it home, intending to take it to the vet later. It crapped in my hand and flew away. FML
