Today, I came out to my parents. They were accepting, saying they love me no matter what. They also said that God lives me no matter what. Now I need to come out to them as atheist. FML

Congratulations on being able to talk to them about that. That sounds like a supportive reaction from them. You are a brave person. I hope you can get some support with this as that sounds really hard but their unconditional love should mean just that, unconditional, atheist or not.
