Of course that was a dick move on his part, but why would you go to work knowing that you have a condition that causes you to have seizures that requires medication without any of said medication? Get an emergency refill, call in sick, but don't put yourself or others in danger by going without your medication and blaming it on someone else. What if you were a bus driver and crashed, hurting or killing people, because you didn't take steps to ensure you had your prescription?
You realize most places would simply fire OP, regardless of why they didn't have their Meds? Do the words "at will employment" mean anything to you, or do they not exist in your sugar and gumdrops land? Even in states that aren't "at will," businesses are more than happy to fire someone with a medical condition for not showing despite being called ahead and told the reason why, as long as they think they can bullshit up a reason for the termination. That's without touching on the amount of employers and bosses that would jump to victim blaming, "well you shouldn't have had it where he could get to it." I get the feeling you have very limited exposure to what it means to have a disability or chronic medical condition.
I am just a stranger and have no room to be making a comment on anyone's love life, but if your husband actually cared about your SAFETY, he would not have done what he did. Just saying, I hope you aren't hurt at all, btw.
The fact he flushed your meds and causing seizures, which can kill, can be ruled as attempted murder. I have epilepsy with full grand mal seizures. This is so wrong on so many levels.
Report him and ask for a restraining order. He can be arrested for what he did since he is jeopardizing your health and safety. Please do it STAT in order to save yourself!
I cannot comprehend why 189 people would think that OP deserves to have her life put in danger like this. What if she was driving and made an accident and an innocent person was killed? You guys need some serious guidance in life

If he's estranged, does he have a key to your home? If not, you need to report him for breaking and entering. I suggest that you work on legally securing your safety from him, which includes getting him removed from having access to your medical records and being contacted for decisions related to your health in the event of emergencies. This time his behavior caused seizures- next time, it could be worse.
As an Epileptic myself I hope that you beat the crap out of him for this. Taking meds away from someone with seizures is tantamount to assault because it is all but guaranteed the person will have a seizure that can severely injure them. Talk to a Law Enforcement officer and see if there is any legal course you can take against him, also don't let him stay your "estranged" husband and make him your EX-husband. Hoping you are well. :)
