Today, as I was holding my 10 month old niece, she halfway ripped out my lip ring. Now I’m waiting in the hospital to see how many stitches I’m going to need. FML

definitely remember that for the future! main reason childcare workers are prohibited from wearing facial piercings & jewellery, babies are grabby!! Either take out piercings if they can't be covered (the best way) or try & keep that area out of the child's reach. It's easy to forget, I've had babies & toddlers pull on just about all of my facial piercings once & luckily didn't end up as badly as needing to go to hospital

No need to be so harsh. It's not necessarily not thinking, it's actually very easy to completely forget that you have piercings
