Today, after my two credit cards were stolen, thousands were charged before I could cancel. The thief dropped nearly $1,000 at Juicy Couture, so she/he is somewhere laughing at me in a magenta, rhinestoned "leisure suit." FML

Today, I was shopping in an upscale store. As I was changing, I heard one of the snobby saleswomen say to mine "You shouldn't bother. She isn't going to buy anything." Determined to "show her", I purchased everything I'd tried on. It came to around $500. My credit card was declined. FML

Today, I found that there were charges of almost 2,000 dollars on my bank account. Some asshole in Florida stole my money. I have bills and that was money I saved to buy myself a new car. FML

Today, I found out my husband has racked up $3000 on our credit cards, and ruined my credit score. When confronted, all he had to say was, "Well you didn't tell me when you bought that ten-dollar t-shirt, so I guess we're even." FML

Today, I found out my identity was stolen. The person got credit cards in my name and didn't pay the bills, which has ruined my near perfect credit. The worst part about all of this is that I can't turn the person in. It's my mom, and sending her to jail wouldn't really work out for anyone. FML

Today, I had to dump my girlfriend because of tons of trust issues that kept reappearing. Shortly afterwards, my credit card disappeared and I got to experience my first identity theft. All within 24 hours. FML

you can totally contest that. no store should allow someone to use a credit card for that much without checking the signature and ID. if they don't verify the ID, contest it with the credit card company and if they can't do anything, you can sue the store.

The OP is not saying that the credit card company is charging her for the items. (She shouldn't have to pay from them.) She's complaining that the thief shopped at a high end store and she's stuck wearing her less expensive clothing. OP, why are you bitching about your clothes? Do you not dress yourself?

Gotta agree with 21. Especially Bedazzlers- Those things are not a fashion craze ( no matter what little 12 year olds say) and they're tacky looking. The thief probably bought a cute pleated dress and a nice handbag OP. None of that rhinestone nonsense- she knows better. :D

Fail. My Credit Card is set up to undo shit like that. So if it gets stolen and gets somewhat £500+ spent they'll instantly phobe me up asking question, then lock and undo transactions. If you don't get then, then seriously FYL dude.
