Today, this guy friend told me he liked me. I don't date because it's not really my thing. He follows me around 24/7 and messages me when I'm not in his sight. Everyone thinks it's cute... I've resorted to hiding in the bathroom because he can't get the hint. FML

report it to your teachers or HR. He should not be doing something that makes you uncomfortable. It is not cute. It is stalkery and he needs to learn boundaries.

I don't want to be rude. he's just a very enthusiastic person I guess..he's just a little clingy and overbearing.

I don't date. relationships just aren't my thing and he knows this. I told him I didn't feel the same way but he's just clingy.

Ok, so I don't have a lot of details, so this comment is very general advice. If you've already told him you don't feel that way about him, you should block him on any social media & his phone number. I would tell him, one final time (either through email, or in a public place) that he needs to leave you alone. If he doesn't, document everything and contact the authorities. (If you're at school, you can also ask for help there before escalating to the authorities, or HR if you work at the same place.) What he's doing is not cute, and it's not ok.
