Don't worry, my dad only says that when he's drunk too. I think it's more of a man-pride thing, he can't bring himself to say it when he's sober. 'Tis not a big deal.

i don't get why this is sad or sucks. your dad shouldn't have to tell you that he loves you. i mean my parents never tell me but i know they do. when people say 'i love you' all the time, it soon looses its meaning. I don't get why this is an FML. he shouldn't have to tell you he loves you for you to know it.
